Poetry Is
Poetry is in the thoughts we think and the words we express.
Poetry is knowledge, wisdom and understanding.
Poetry is in the instructions or rebuke,
Foresight, insight, illumination and revelation.
Poets are the unacknowledged legislators of the world.
Poetry is in the songs we sing and the music we hear.
The words we preach, the things we teach,
and the Philosophy we express. Poetry is in advertising, drama,
rhythmic chanting, rapping and in the prayers we pray.
Poetry is in the things we Touch, what we See with our eyes,
Hear with our ears, Taste what we eat, and in how we Feel
from our past, present and future!
Poetry is in the way we move, and the creative things we do.
Poetry is inspiration to the highest degree,
the Spirit that moves us to action,
enlightens our soul and gives health to our bones.
Yes, poetry is all around us, like the very air we breathe.
Poetry is the very heartbeat of our life and soul.

God’s Poetic Voice Ministries
A ministry of ministries! We are to enlighten believers to the many truths on the gift of writing poetry,
to assist in helping to develop each believer’s voice and to provide them with many opportunities and
outlets (jails, nursing homes, rehab centers, girl’s and boy’s homes, etc.) in fulfilling one’s calling in
this area.”
God has commissioned us all to write down all the words that He has spoken unto us in a book (Jer.
20:2). So, has God spoken to you? What has been done to you and for you? What are your testimonies
of Jesus Christ? Has He shown you a vision? Been inspired to do or write something? Did you receive
some revelations? John 21:25; Acts 2:17 kjv
God wants us all to be a doer of the word, and not a hearer only! An active performer and not just in
the audience. The word doer here in the greek means (creator, maker, POET and performer) James 1:22
kjv. God wants us to be His mouthpiece and actively participate in what His word and Spirit says. It’s
to spread love, do good works and encourage each other especially them that are of the household of
faith. James 1:27 kjv. Yes, poets or doers who uses their own life experiences and the inspiration of the
Holy Spirit to hear His voice, write His message and publish it to the world.
Paul says: desire/covet the best gift and what is the best gift? Prophesy I Cor. 14:24 kjv. Jesus said:
Pray that the father will send forth more laborers. Will you be a laborer in God’s vineyard?
